Research and Publications
The Sainsbury Centre has pioneered a research-based approach to collaborative and reflective practice in museums and art galleries, and works with partners from many specialist subject areas.
Each year the Sainsbury Centre works in partnership and collaboration with schools, artists, teachers and/or other museum educators on outreach projects.
This Foster-designed facility at the heart of the Crescent Wing opened in 2006, enabling the Sainsbury Centre to make more links between making and viewing art.
Download resources to use when you visit the galleries or to stimulate your thinking before or after a visit.
The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts offers a range of practical workshops led by professional artists to support adults to develop their own creative practice.
